Therapeutic Art Unleashes your Unique Creative Voice

You are unique. All that flows through you is unique.

I am saying this to myself as well as anyone who needs to hear it! The more that we can all trust this truth, and stay true to our own voice, the more we will SHINE!!

Does anyone else need a reminder to trust your unique creative voice? Sometimes I do. Especially now, as I embark upon this new revived version of my offering to the world. I can so easily slip into comparison mode or a headspace that discourages me from putting my work out into the world because it may seem similar to what many other people are doing. But then I remind myself to practice what I preach, and that no one is going to be exactly like me, whether in teaching or in creating art. I am called to trust that however my inspiration flows through me and wherever it comes from, it’s going to come out of me with my unique energetic stamp on it. The more I trust that, and the more I bring myself back to this truth, the more I can tap into my unique and powerful voice. So today as I start my morning practice, II am reminding myself to trust the creative practice, and all that has flowed through me and out of me for the last 30 years of my journey of healing with art.

We all have a unique gift to offer the world, whether it is as teachers, artists, writers, or anything that you are called to do in the world. You are unique and you are beautiful! Here is to ALL OF US trusting the force and allowing ourselves to shine!!!! Every workshop I teach, whether online or in person is a living reminder to my students and me that our unique, creative voices matter and have an important place in the world.
